One of my go to brunch spots downtown! It can get busy but the line moves quickly. We always order a side of lemon ricotta pancake! It comes with 2 extra large pancakes and a berry compote- perfection every time. Could never go wrong ordering the standard American breakfast- eggs your way. Every style of eggs that I've had was cooked well. I decided to try a maplewood burger this time and it didn't disappoint! A soft sesame bun with a thick cut burger and the garlic aioli balanced it well (I even added the bacon from my other order). The space has really high ceilings so it feels very open yet inviting to catch up with friends.

Maplewood Kitchen became a go-to when landing in Cincinnati from an early flight. They are one of few restaurants open at 8a serving actual food. As someone who doesn't particularly love traditional breakfast offerings, I enjoy being able to order lunch selections in the morning. I think the prices are set nicely... this is coming from someone who hates that avocado toast in LA cost $20 on average. That's annoying. Maplewood even boasts a large beautiful bar, perfect for brunch. This is a great place to come with friends and groups. Everyone orders/pays at the counter, you find your seat, and the food is brought to your table. Easy peasy.

Cute place, good vibes, tasty food, quick service. On a work trip and I needed lunch. Maplewood Kitchen was nearby, so that was the place to go. I enjoyed the cool brunch energy of the place, although I opted to skip the midday booze. My Mediterranean bowl was tasty and deceivingly filling. It didn't look like much, but the quinoa and hummus packed a nice protein punch. I added chicken skewers, too, which were juicy and flavorful. I got an iced earl grey tea; this was a miss. Earl grey is their seasonal flavor... but some things shouldn't be iced. All in all, I'd def recommend Mapplewood Kitchen & Bar, and I'm a little jelly I'm not a local so I can't bring my girlfriends here for a lazy Sunday brunch.

Great food and easy service. I loved the seasoning for the hash browns. There was plenty of searing and quick service.

This was a good spot for breakfast/lunch. The way their system works is that you go to the counter to place your order, they give you a number to place on your table, and they bring everything out to you. The water and I believe basic coffee is self serve. On day 1, the line was terribly long. That's always a sign of good things to come! I had a burger that was just ok, but I loved the cold-pressed juice and shared a friend's lemon pancakes, which were amazing. I dined with 3 others and they were in LOVE with everything they had. On day 2, I had the Chiliquiles, which I really enjoyed. Both days, I had a cookie. If I'm ever in Cincinatti again, I'd definitely go back!

I heard about Maplewood from a peer. Located right by the Hilton, I gave it a try. The restaurant is large and comfortable, with a fast food style setup like Ponderosa. Order and pay at the counter, get your drink cups, get a number and sit where you like. The staff bring your food when it's ready. It's rather pricey considering the setup, but the portions are large, the coffee is good, and they have sparkling water on tap. I enjoyed my breakfast, and will return here.

Loving the concept of diners with classic American food I figured you can't go wrong with a diner, but this place exceeded my expectations! Maplewood kitchen us anything but a basic diner, it's very elegant atmosphere serves healthy foods as well as your traditional diner fare. I had the Maplewood omelette that comes with a side salad, it was a great price for what was all included. The staff was great and professional, I had issues with my card and the staff handled the situation promptly and unexpectedly, a definite plus! Next time I'm in Cincinnati I'd definitely come here again! Thank you so much to the staff for everything!

Went here in a Sunday at about noon. Not too busy (Memorial Day weekend and food festival nearby, maybe that's why). Food orders were the Mediterranean salad with chicken - VERY good. Kids cheese burger - giant portion! Service was friendly Price was reasonable at 38ish USD. Would I return ? Yes. It's an option for sure if in the area but you wouldn't drive out of your way to come here just for it.

Maplewood has long been my favorite brunch spot and I don't understand why the Mason location closed! Everything I've had here is phenomenal from the burgers to avocado toast to the hash (my all time favorite savory option). This time around I had the lemon ricotta pancakes and hash - I've never had the pancakes and it's hard for me to stray from the hash because I love it so much. But the pancakes were amazing and might be my new favorite! So light and airy and delicious.

Came here with a friend who is vegan because of the many vegan/vegetarian options on the menu. You order at the counter here and then they bring your food to your table. It's a large open space with lots of seating choices. We ordered a handful of meals and sat down to wait. We got the Lemon Ricotta Pancakes and a few other dishes that I can remember the names of. We also got the hummus and fries. The food was all delicious and came out quickly! I was a little disappointed because we ordered two drinks that they forgot about and ultimately didn't receive until after we finished eating (hence 4 stars). Overall though, a great option for brunch with lots of variety!
